Susan Brubaker Knapp

Create a vibrant art quilt using simple imagery, acrylic paints and stencils. You’ll paint and stencil in class, and take a small quilt top home to quilt. Students begin one or two original projects, learning how to work with acrylic paints to create a background, then stencil pattern onto the background and then paint around their imagery. Susan will bring some imagery and stencils you can use, or you can bring your own. We'll also talk about how to free-motion machine quilt your piece. NOTE: No machine work.

Class price includes paint, and use of my stencils and imagery.

We will take a half hour break for lunch. Please bring your own lunch, as there is no nearby fast food. There is a refrigerator and microwave on site.

The classroom has folding chairs with padded seats; you may be more comfortable sitting all day if you bring an additional cushion.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you cancel before noon EST on March 1, 2025, a refund will be made minus a $10 processing fee. If you cancel after this date, you will not receive a refund unless the slot can be filled with someone on the waiting list. If the slot can be filled, you'll be issued the refund, minus a $10 processing fee.
